‘Planet Local: A Quiet Revolution’, a 50-minute documentary film directed by Helena Norberg-Hodge, Henry Coleman and John Page, gives voice to a growing number of people building a more beautiful world. From restoring topsoil, to sharing traditional knowledge, to opposing free trade treaties and innovating new ways of supporting local businesses, their actions are forging a new path forward for humanity.

The film features grassroots activists from every continent alongside internationally known figures like Russell Brand, Noam Chomsky, Vandana Shiva, Naomi Klein, Jane Goodall, Gabor Maté and Helena Norberg-Hodge – all of them bringing inspiration and clarity to a world full of dark news.

Watch the trailer.

Following the film, there will be a panel discussion and audience interaction, moderated by Monica Medina-McCurdy, Executive Director of ATN-PA. Panelists include Judy Wicks, Founder of ATN-PA, Liz Anderson, Manager of the Phoenixville Farmers Market and Dennis Ray, chair of the East Pikeland Township Environmental Advisory Council.
