History
All Together Now PA was founded by Judy Wicks in the spring of 2019. A life-long Pennsylvanian and avid localist, many experiences in Judy’s life lead to the creation of All Together Now PA.
Judy began her local food work in 1983 when she founded White Dog Cafe, a pioneer in the farm-to-table movement. With resources from her restaurant, she founded Fair Food in 2000 to connect local farmers to the urban marketplace.
In 2001 she founded the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia and co-founded the nationwide Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE - now called Common Future).
In 2013, Judy published her memoir Good Morning, Beautiful Business, which documents her journey as a local economy activist.
In 2015 she founded the Circle of Aunts & Uncles, a micro loan fund that provides low-interest loans and advice to Philadelphia entrepreneurs without family & friends stage capital. In 2016 she founded Proud Pennsylvania to help elect state legislators who oppose fracking and support the growth of sustainable and just local economies.
